Campus & Housing

The RoleModel Campus

Depending on a variety of factors, instruction may occur on the RoleModel Software campus or in another facility in Holly Springs, NC.

RoleModel Software is nestled on multiple wooded acres right outside of Holly Springs, NC in a custom designed building that includes the Auer home, RoleModel’s workspace, and additional living space. When you’re here, you feel like you’re in a remote section of the Carolina foothills. Everything is very quiet and peaceful, with few neighbors and plenty of room to roam with the variety of wildlife (birds, deer, turkeys, and more) and chickens. In addition to an organic garden, and small playground, there is a large open field, picnic areas, a primitive camping area with large firepit, and walking trails through ten-plus acres of woods and rolling hills. A cascading spring-fed creek which flows into Buckhorn Creek is a highlight of the grounds. Here, you will be closely connected to God’s amazing creation.

While everything is quiet and isolated, we are only a few miles away from a large shopping center which includes several restaurants (fast food and otherwise), banks, a gas station, CVS (pharmacy), a Harris Teeter (grocery store) and a Super Wal-Mart along with a variety of other stores. Within ten minutes is Holly Springs library and cultural center and a variety of recreational facilities. Harris Lake Park includes excellent mountain bike trails and a disc golf course in addition to other park fare.

A slightly longer drive gives you access to all that the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) has to offer, in addition to several smaller towns each with their own unique charm. Canoeing or kayaking on the wild and scenic sections of the Cape Fear River is also available along with other rural attractions.

Housing

Though commuting is welcome for participants who live near by, some housing is available on site or nearby depending on preferences of the applicant and availability. These will be handled on a case by case basis based on preferences of the applicant and availability. If you are interested in housing, please check the appropriate box on the application form. If you are accepted into the program, we will confirm whether you are still interested and work out those details.
